Lecure looked really good.

It doesn't even have to be a good bunt for Stubbs to beat it out.

My point entirely last night. You knew this was coming didn't you?

You still would have had to rely on Janish or a pinch hitter to get a hit off of a guy with nasty stuff. Not exactly easy to do.

If he had led off the inning and stolen 2nd Janish could have bunted him over to 3rd and Hernandez who pinch hit could have had the chance to tie the game with one out. I would have taken my chances with that.

That's just a lot that needs to be done correctly to score 1 run. First Stubbs has to actually get on base. Then what if Stubbs gets a bad jump? Game over. What if Janish can't get the bunt down? No easy task against a closer, and we all know how much the Reds have struggled bunting. We all know the trouble the reds have had scoring runners from third with less than 2 outs. Just to many variables.

If the pitch had been a ball, I'd be pretty upset Stubbs swung and popped it up. But it was a pitch to drive, and he missed it. It happens.

Arthur just hasn't looked the same lately. I hope that foot is not bothering him. Not good.

That quickly.....what's wrong with Arthur lately?

Maybe Arthur needs a few days on the side to get healthy. Bring on Aroldis.
