You can't stop the Polecat. The left tackle is open everytime.

Polecat? Please share with a simple minded person what this play entails.

Hey G, what is the Polecat?

It looks like the "swinging gate" with the QB 12 yds back in shotgun and the center and 1 lineman at the ball...all other linemen/backs are lined up 10-15 yards to the side and the QB can actually throw the ball to the tackle & the center if he wishes...routes are usually short because the QB doesnt have that much time to throw due to an un-blocked rusher or 6!

On Fox Sports this year they had a high school game on from Texas (or Florida or Cal) anyway the underdog team ran the Polecat the entire second quarter. The most effective pass was the one to the center... well it was until the QB got his clock cleaned three times in a row. They ended up losing by like 40 but it was entertaining.

I don't see Beechwood scoring a lot of points unless LCA scores a bunch. The most that a team (with the exception of Lex Cath) has scored on LCA is 30 by Corbin. I predict an Eagle win 34-21.

I cannot see LCA holding Beechwood under 30. It's not a homerism either. I have no dog in this fight. LCA may have improved from last year to this year, but just can't see them being 48 pts better or Beechwood being 48 pts worse. It may be closer than 48 pts, but Beechwood should win this game handily.

So is anyone who is going to the game going to text message me with updates???

One other thing these Beechwood seniors know what it feels like to win the big one. If someone does beats them will have to play a great game.

Beechwood has been held under 30 points this year. Bellevue held them to 21; NCC held them to 24 and Kettering Alter held them to 14. It can be done. And maybe LCA is not 48 points better and Beechwood is not 48 worse. But consider this scenario. Maybe LCA is 24 points better and Beechwood is 24 points worse. That makes it a tie. HMMM.

Also, check out the tape from last year. Might see that it was 14-14 until the quarterback threw 4 interceptions with 6 minutes left in the half.

If Corbin scored 30 on LCA, Beechwood will get at least that.

B'wood 27

LCA 22

I can email you or text message form the game - either one...

Let me know your preference via PM...
