They do NOT want to be the Beechwood team that doesn't make it to the finals. Since 1991 Beechwood has ONLY been watching the finals from the stands THREE years!

It sounds like the pressure to win rests on this year's Beechies.

 

I don't think LCA will lose. But if they do it will be no great shame to lose to such "overwhelming" tradition (which some seem to think is the only factor here).

 

But if Beechwood loses, they will be "the Beechwood team that doesn't make it to the finals."

 

And they will have lost to little, "haven't played anybody good" LCA (only a 5 year old program).

 

THAT would be a MAJOR embarassment! I mean, losing to NCC or Danville, that's one thing. But to lose to "no name" LCA: I can't imagine the shame!

PROGRAM DIRECTION: advantage LCA. LCA is vastly improved from last year. Even Beechwood supporters say that Beechwood is down this year.

 

Just because Beechwood wins, and wins a lot, doesn't mean this years players are not hungry.

If Corbin scored 30 on LCA, Beechwood will get at least that.

One poster on here predicted that LCA shocks the state. Consider this, what if both NCC and Beechwood were to lose tonight. That would be the BIGGEST shocker.

Beechwood fans better bring something to sit on. The stands at LCA are VERY limited.

I am shocked at the number of people picking LCA over the Beechies. Beechwood has played some great teams as opposed to LCA's schedule. Northern Kentucky vs. Non-Northern Kentucky. Polecat and Lone wolf are smoke and mirrors. Beechwood wins this one convincingly!

I wouldn't mind the Beechies to stay in and represent NKY, but I'm all for NCC going down. If Beechwood does lose I won't be too heart broken though. Bellevue can then prove themselves to Lexington Christian. That's if Bellevue wins tonight of course.

This will be a good game, too bad I can't be two places at once.
