  1. From what I've heard LCA is a running team. If so then the Breds are going to take this one. They have a good enough secondary to consistantly cover the pass while stacking up on the run. I expect NCC to win the game by no more than 2 touchdowns, but they will win. Comments about the Bellevue game since the thread is locked. No response is needed. Great job by the Breds. I underestimated their secondary. The secondary played good enough to cover the receivers even though the box was stacked. I don't know what happened to Bellevue's blocking. Adams was getting hit by 3 or 4 guys every play at the line, but usually the first guy or even second guy never took him down. Sometimes he was getting hit as soon as he took the hand off. It was an all around bad performance by the Tigers. I was glad to see Adams return the kick though. I hated to see them go out like this after such a great season.
  2. I wouldn't mind the Beechies to stay in and represent NKY, but I'm all for NCC going down. If Beechwood does lose I won't be too heart broken though. Bellevue can then prove themselves to Lexington Christian. That's if Bellevue wins tonight of course.
  3. I've been asking for weeks now for the game to be moved to Friday night and that did happen. The downside of the Friday night game is that I just got called into work and I would be able to make a Saturday afternoon game. I would just pull a no call/no show but with it being a 24-hour work shift it's a pretty good chunk of change to miss out on especially for a college student. Overall I'm still glad the game is on Friday night, because like I said before it is just a all-around better atmosphere.
  4. Must have missed and I thought I was current with the thread so I didn't go back and read everything. Thanks though. Why didn't they do a sticky for it like they did with game changes that happened last week?
  5. I was told this game is going to be played at 7:00 on Friday @ Holmes.
  6. NCC lined their team up in a power set and played smash mouth. Bellevue continued to try and do misdirection plays which leaves Adams with no lead blockers. Lead blockers are useful in the mud.
  7. He has the speed to blow somebody up on a dry field and break tackles with his momentum going, but in a mud pit if he can't get his speed up then those abilities are practically gone. Just wait until this weeks game and you'll see what I'm talking about.
  8. Just like he didn't do in the mud slop, right? Adams is a speed runner not a power back.
  9. When he passed the ball before he would just toss up a duck in the air and hope the receiver ran to it and caught it. At the Raceland game he was throwing tight spirals on the money.
  10. I know Bellevue is the underdog, but like I stated above if they can pass the ball like they did against Raceland then this is a different ball game. Against Raceland Bellevue's QB was throwing the ball really really well. He was throwing deep and for short strikes that were perfect passes. I guess they were holding out until the playoffs. I really didn't understand during the game how he could come out all the sudden and throw the ball the way he did. What does all this mean? It means that NCC will not be able to stack the box. It opens up the run and makes the run that more dangerous. If NCC doesn't respect the pass then they will pay for it.
  11. I'd like Beechwood to make it past Lexington Christian so the Bellevue has a chance to show the doubters that their win over Beechwood wasn't a fluke.
  12. This will be a very good game and if Bellevue can defend the pass and pass the ball (yes I said pass the ball) like they did against Raceland then they can pull this one out.
  13. Especially after Bellevue makes it to the State Champioinship game.
  14. The hardest hit I ever saw was during a Bellevue practice when a kid was running at Lorenzy Holland thinking he was going to blind side him until Lorenzy turned around at the last second and ended up crushing him like a pop can. He broke the kids jaw.
