Game Day! ... Any final thoughts or predictions fot this game tonight?

Leslie County all the way!!!!! :jump:  :ylsuper: :thumb: :dancingpa

This should be a good game. if Leslie Co. is as good as adveritsed then I expect the Pond Creek Nation to be heading to Hyden. I also agree that Sheldon Clark has a ton of heart and are very well coached. I am sure that Leslie respects SC just as Belfry respects Middlesboro, if any team comes into a region semi final game expecting less than a dogfight then they might just be bouncing the roundball at thier respective school. I have no preference of the winner as long as the best team wins. I wouldnt mind to see SC win so Belfry can play at home, but in a way I wouldnt mind to travel to Hyden, KY and sit with my adversary EagleMan4Life, win or lose I bet we would have a good time . Folks this is high school football at its best, just be glad that these 4 schools in the region have the previlige to argue the point of who might win .. cause many are doing sprints/suicides right now on the hardwood!

Very well said :thumb: like i have said all week-- good luck to both teams, and hope no one get hurt,, and lets have fun!! :jump:

I'm going with Leslie in this one. :thumb:

The game will be on Hazard's radio station 97.9 for those that can't attend but I hope everyone that is able will be there cheering their team on. I know I will be, GO EAGLES!!!

Will there be a station from SC's area broadcasting?

I think Leslie County will come away with a win.

If not then good luck to SC on their next game.

Welcome to the SC team and fans. Hope you enjoy the game whatever the outcome.

I really hope that the "big heads" of Leslie Co get popped after the dust settles Friday night. They seem so confident that they are the team to beat seeing as how they have won 2 back to back state championships. Oh wait Belfry is the 2 time defending AA state champions....My bad....HA......Sheldon Clark I really hope that you all take your A game Friday night so you can show Leslie what this side of the region is all about. Take it to them on their on home field and show them the true meaning of Smashmouth football and walk away knowing your going to make a trip to CAM stadium the following week. Go CARDINALS....All of Pond Creek is behind you.

:dancingpa :fire:

You Belfry fans want SC to win awful bad. :ylsuper: Must be scared to make the long trip to Hyden yourself.

Did you skip his post that came after that one, EM4L?

From my earlier post I would like to appologize to all on BGP especially Leslie Co (fans, players, coaches and parents). From my post it may have seemed to be pointed directly at you out of hate or fear but it was nothing like that. It was just my way of expressing what I know will be a great ballgame come Friday night there in Hyden and hopefully the following week as well. It was not to be something smart or to say that we are better it was just a little message that I should have read over better and shown better taste than what I did. I am sorry if I got something started that should have never came up and I hope that over all we will have a great ballgame from two very respectful teams come tomorrow night.

Have that being said I am still cheering for the Cardinals with all hopes that they go into Hyden and pull off the upset. I hope both teams play with pride and that great love for the game and remember one team will live to play another week, while one will not. Just give it your all and don't hold anything back.......... 48 minutes or longer......who wants it the most? Only time will tell.

Go Cards!!!!!

More than one person said it once and this makes twice for me!!! WE PULL FOR SC BECAUSE HIS COACH IS A GRADUATE OF BELFRY HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides that HarleyD apologized and that was very honorable of him. :irked:

Go back and ready my post EagleMan, I said I wouldnt mind at all to come to Hyden, I even said I would sit with you! This Pirate could care less where we play, as long as were playing!

Not scared....

If we win and the Cards win, thats one more HOME game and one more tailgate party for Pond Creek! :dancingpa

Lets go Cards

Just a few hours before game time and I would like to take the time to wish both teams good luck and hopefully both teams will play with pride, honor and keep the thought that there is no tomorrow for the team that comes up short tonight on the scoreboard. I hope that Leslie and Sheldon Clark both have their A games tonight so everyone will have nothing to say once the game is over with. No "what ifs" tonight! Play hard or go home and remember.......the Pirates will be waiting. :ylsuper:

With all due respect the Pirates have to get by Middlesboro first, I hope the team is overlooking them as the fans seem to be.

I see Sheldon Clark winning this one by 7.
