Track the Reds (2nd Half, Week 3)

Could the Reds ask for for two more favorable pitching matchups ... heck, the Cubs just beat Hawksworth and Suppan.

I know. Don't think it could work out any better than that.

Anyone going to the Reds game tomorrow (Friday)? It's the game I'll have made all season.

Not going tomorrow, but I'm going to try to get down there Sunday afternoon. It'll be the 6th time I've went this season. They're 4-1 through the first 5. I'm also tentatively planning on being at the 1st two Cardinals games. This is when the games are exciting!

You might be their good luck charm man. They should send you season tickets. :thumb:

They are 7-3 when I'm in attendance. Don't think I'll be making it out there this weekend though.

2 beers would be more like a .02 I think.

Herrera is really little. :D

 I think he missed that one.

Read an article and it actually said that people who were bigger (fatter) actually got drunk off less because fat cells absorb alcohol more or something like that. Contradictory to everything I heard before.

I actually believe this and would almost call it a fact.

I thought Waino threw last night so he could throw Monday??

But if the rotation is Hawkesworth, Suppan, and Waino the Reds should win the series.

Looking ahead it tentatively looks like Leake, Cueto, and Arroyo will be the 3 Reds starters in the St. Louis series. The Cardinals appear to be scheduled to have Hawksworth, Suppan, and Carpenter.

Leake vs. Hawksworth on Monday night

Cueto vs. Suppan on Tuesday night

Arroyo vs. Carpenter on Wednesday afternoon.

I believe you have your weeks mixed up. The Reds don't play the Cardinals until week after next. Carpenter is going tonight, which means he will go Wednesday in the last game of the series against the Astros. He will pitch either Monday or Tuesday against the Reds, depending on whether the Cardinals skip their #5 starter since they have a day off next Thursday. Either way the Reds will face both Carpenter and Wainwright in the 3 game series in Cincy.
