True, but after watching what I saw close-up on Wednesday and Thursday, and not seeing Tuesday's rain game because of my cable and internet being out, the bullpen needed the rest, badly. For the most part, I have little complaints about how Dusty's managed the starters' collective workload to this point. He's done what's needed to protect the bullpen (but I'd still feel better if Masset was replaced by Chapman in the next couple weeks).
Cueto is one of the building blocks of the pitching staff. I would say it's much more important to use him judiciously than to worry about asking a low-level reliever to throw one additional inning.

Hunter Pence doesn't even remind me of a baseball player. Runs like he left a corn cob lodged when he went to the outhouse. Throws totally unorthodox. Yet has been a Reds bane this weekend. Nice to see him K there.

Reds finally get a runner on base.

Votto was on in the first inning...

I know, just stating that no one has been on base in a while.

Top of the order. Good time to score here.

I've always thought Pence would make a good addition to the Reds roster.

Leake remarkably strong through 6. Let's scratch for one please.
