Track the Reds(2nd Half, Week 2)

I've always thought Pence would make a good addition to the Reds roster.

If nothing else, it'd keep the Reds from having to face him.

Arthur hustling to get ready

Still a great outing by the young man. Need to shut the door here.

yep no support. the starters have to hate to see their name come up on Sundays

Might be too little too late. Tough spot

You were correct

As far as I'm concerned, 122 is never a "non-issue" ...

You mean only when it's one of Dusty's pitchers right? You certainly didn't express any concern or complain about Jim Tracy when we were talking about Jiminez's high pitch counts. As a matter of fact you made excuses for him.

Well, if you notice, they've kept his pitch counts below 110 recently, even in his best outings.

Certainly, he hasn't pitched well lately, not that he was ever going to keep up his blistering early pace.

I suspect the Rockies have decided to play it safe with him ... a wise move on their part.

One of his two 128 counts was his no-hitter ... the other one was a shutout. I'm not an advocate of any pitcher throwing that many pitches in a game, but obviously the Rockies were letting him go for the milestones.
