July 25, 201016 yr I knew there must have been something to gripe about after the 7-0 win...knew someone would find it. It's sad that it's become so predictable. Some people just aren't happy unless they're complaining about something.
July 25, 201016 yr If Cueto threw 122 pitches, it is something worth griping about. If it were an every outing theme, maybe so. However, with the way he was dealing and the fact that he doesn't go over the 100 pitch count often, coupled with the extra off day, it's a non-issue.

July 25, 201016 yr It's sad that it's become so predictable. Some people just aren't happy unless they're complaining about something. You wouldn't be happy unless you had something to bring up about this. What does that say for you?

July 25, 201016 yr As far as I'm concerned, 122 is never a "non-issue" ... True, but after watching what I saw close-up on Wednesday and Thursday, and not seeing Tuesday's rain game because of my cable and internet being out, the bullpen needed the rest, badly. For the most part, I have little complaints about how Dusty's managed the starters' collective workload to this point. He's done what's needed to protect the bullpen (but I'd still feel better if Masset was replaced by Chapman in the next couple weeks).
July 25, 201016 yr Also knew someone would point that out. I just couldn't find anything to complain about when I saw he box score from yesterday...but I knew once I logged on someone would find something to blame Dusty for. I thought a 7-0 shutout woudln't lead to much, but I guess I was wrong.
