I have no reason to lie Chad Lawrence said they won 15 to 9. Who should I believe a player on the field thats playing in the game or a Highlands fan that thinks they always win?

 

Will you ask Chad Lawrence why he lied? I believe Highlands won because there are credible posters on this website that went to the 7 on 7.

As I heard HHS QB and HHS receivers performed great, beginning with the first play from scrimmage. You guys are awesome!

You know, all my brethren everyday tell me how they can't wait to get on BGP to see what our fellow poster has to say about SK. When you think he/she has said it all, then bam, here comes another. Hey, if a kid wants to believe he or they did well, then more power to them. If it's a way to build confidence in yourself and fans, then again more power to them. Maybe they did do that good. You know I guess it's whatever it takes, I dunno! I'm absolutely puzzled. But it is good reading. hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Tdy, I did hear from your mother that your brethren has been bad, maybe you should start a very beginners like workout program. Try walkin 500 ft per nite for 1 wk straight and work you way up to being able to walk from the house to Ameristop and back. And no ice cream cones for the way back. There was a nice reciever for Simon Kenton that was making some incredible catches. He was tall with the sweat soaked wife beater shirt that was pretty much torn to a rag at the end of the 7 on 7. Who would that be uk'#1fan?

Even if folks get irritated with a certain SK poster (who I am convinced makes posts just to get the chain jerk reaction that he does-note to self: best to ignore those type of folks), I think we should still give SK it's due credit (as a couple of Highlands posters have already done). I wasn't at the practice, but a good friend of mine who really knows football was and he told me that SK has some very talented athletes and looked very good at times particularly when they had all their best athletes out there at one time on the same squad. Unfortunately that means kids playing both ways, which will make it very, very difficult to beat X and T down the road. I heard they had some very talented receivers and Lawrence looked pretty good. They have some nice DBs too. It's clear that this is not your father's or even your older brother's SK team. Kudos to Coach Markesberry, his assistants and the players for elevating the SK program. Such is good for N. Ky football and if they can get to the point of being able to challenge and beat X and T, will be good for all of Ky football.

:taz:A little delayed, but here's what I saw. Towles just puts the ball where only his recievers can get it most of the time. Sidelines are well utilized, recievers running pretty crisp routes, most of the time. SK recievers were jumbled, at times, on some routes, but did get to the ball. SK threw a fair amount of balls out into the flat, rather than downfield. In all honesty, SK's defense was swarming and pumped, but generally speaking a little slower than HHS recievers. HHS defense will need to do some work, but overall covered well. Seems to be a little confusion, at times, with DB's playing the reciever and not turning to the ball, but not always. My assessment would be that Chad Lawrence is a top notch QB and if he can get a couple of other recievers on track, they will have some fun this year. SK is a good team and should have a good year. If the passing plays by HHS are any indication of the offensive scheme this year, it's going to be a lot of fun to watch, in particular with the RB's HHS will have. I will say that SK's coaches were pumped on defense and any time there was a knockdown by their DB's, the coaches were smacking their helmets. Good to see. Good to see. On a side note: I was on the sidewalk when SK's bus pulled in and the SK boys got off the bus talking smack ....I think that shows their level of confidence and I say good for them. Just goes to show what a couple of good seasons can do for a program....now, when they get to 19 titles, they should have people walking into their facility talking trash and trying to knock them off.

One more thing: Lots of love out to UK#1 Fan....he is the epitome of what HHS football fans are about....that's probably what gets under our skin so much. Keep up the support of your fine football team.

Chad was part of SK's 15 offensive scores and then he was part of SK's 9 allowed defensive TD's. So how many scores did SK allow while Chad was on the other end of the field playing offense. Because I know it's impossible to be in 2 places at one time. So, are you still going to take the word of a kid that was supposedly keeping tabs with the scores on the other side of the field while he was scoring at will on Highalnds D....

:lol: I agree, he has some sort of hitch during his drop steps right before he sets to throw the ball, I thought it was a new dance; however now I know it was him trying to catch a glimpse of what was happening on the other 40; because he was keeping count. He had plenty of time due to the number of imcompletions on SK end. I guess we can add a proven winner, exceptional speed and now professional spotter to his resume. Unlike you we give facts and other teams credit.

May I suggest a solution: A scoreboard is not needed nor will it be used in SK games this year. SK#1Fan will just keep track of the score in his mind. Then, it's up to us to read his mind to determine the final score.

Lets ease up on calling a high school kid a liar. He didn't ask for the poster to bring his name into this.
