I find it ridiculous that some are bashing LBJ because he's thinking about leaving Cleveland or may possibly join Wade and Bosh.

 

To me, it sounds like a bunch of haters because of the success that those 3 would have together. With all of them being in their mid 20's (Wade late 20's), they would run the East for years to come.

 

I don't see it as a cop out at all. The guy is being unselfish and leaving tens of millions of dollars on the table because he simply wants to WIN.

 

What's so wrong with wanting to win if your current team simply isn't putting the right pieces around you now?

He may say that's his goal, but I don't think he's shown that to be true. I admire Kobe's desire to be the best. I think LBJ is missing it. No question in my mind who the more talented player God given is though.

 

I have a hard time believing people think Wade is better than LBJ. Did Magic lead every team he played in in scoring? LBJ leads his team in points, rebounds, aand assists seemingly every big playoff game.

 

Big difference in being the better player and having your own team. LeBron is most likely the better player, but alot of things would have to happen for the Heat to become his team any time in the near future.

 

CP3 will be a free agent this year or next. IF LBJ is still in Cleveland as is Byron Scott, he'd look really hard at Cleveland.

 

I sincerely think CP3 is a future Cav if LeBron stays. They are supposedly really tight, CP3 has tried to persuade LeBron to stay in Cleveland, CP3 loves Byron Scott, and the list goes on and on. I can't see the Hornets trading him this season, but eventually I think CP3 could realistically become a Cav.

I see what you are saying, but they didn't always have a salray cap. They didn't always have a max amount a player could make. The way the system is set up now you have to have helpers and they have to be really good. His aren't. He's a free agent. If he decides to try to win a title in Miami good for him. He has the power. A huge difference between these guys and Bird and Magic are they were competitors through and through. All the guys that generation didn't grow up playing w/ and against each other . They had general dislike and a desire to pound each other. These guys hang out together and all get along. Even their biggest competition is someone they hang out with and party with.

The NBA has had a salary cap since the mid 1980s. It was a failed experiment in the 1940s.

I am ready to "witness" if he is that cold blooded to leave Cleveland on national tv with ESPN's most likely highest rated show in a long time if not ever.

My head says he's going to Miami and taking the easiest route possible. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. That's his choice. I just hate to see him play ARod to Wade's Jeter. He's better than that. As was ARod, but to each his own. He'll still be a pleasure to watch.

CCC, sorry that it got personal. I just think it's crazy that a free agent is being bashed for (possibly) leaving the team he was drafted by. He should have left last time he could. He stayed to see if they could win one and they couldn't. He recruited Bosh and he decided not to come. He can't win a title in Cleveland but he should stay? That doesn't make sense.

I'm a Cavs fan, and if he leaves, that's fine. I get it. I think it's wrong, but I get it. But that doesn't excuse going on national television just to pull out a knife and butcher his hometown.

If he goes to Miami maybe he wants to live in South Beach and play with guys that are good friends of his. I think he's in Brooklyn in 3 years if they have cap space and a good roster. I still have yet to see anyone dispute that Chicago would be a better option for titles the next 3 years.

I've come to notice this isn't a one hour special. ESPN has made this a 72 hour special. I haven't turned on ESPN once without it being about LeTool.
