When Bennet said Republicans need to come up with ideas, he meant good ideas!

My knee-jerk reaction is that it would set the GOP back twenty years in this Commonwealth.

But the more I think about it, I'm not so sure they couldn't win.

No doubt that they would give the democrats a run for their money . . .

David Williams is a hack and is yet another reason I am no longer affiliated with a political party. Sorry if this offends anyone, sorta. Eh, not really. I'd vote for Gatewood before any of the others.

This is not what I want to see. I want any and all opportunities to keep Abramson out of further office. His royal attitude with how he has run things over the last 10 years or so is almost reminiscent of the divine right of kings.

David Williams on the other hand is quite possibly one of the only politicians in local KY politics that I despise more than Abramson.

Rule by fiat or rule by absurd moralist ideals.

This kind of stuff really makes me hate the fact that I love my hometown and am reluctant to relocate.

I hope that is the ticket, because Williams hurts that ticket statewide. Plus it gets him out of the Senate.

Williams is the most hated in the KY legislature.

Says a lot about what you think about the democrat party in Kentucky. Or does it?

It says a lot about Kentucky voters. To suggest that either Beshear or Abramson is liberal is laughable.

"Ad lack to thaink everbuddy who would vote fer me an my runnin mate this upcomin alaiction. Go Cats!"

Thoughts?

How would this fare against Beshear/Abramson?

Depends. Can Beshear go to his right? Can Abramson handle the rock and defend the 3?

Please explain. Your post went way over my head. Did I suggest in my reply to mcpapa that Beshear or Abramson were not liberal???

My point was intended to compare the same voters that may elect Farmer, to many of the the same ones that elected Beshear, Fletcher, Patton, Jones, Collins, etc, etc. Are Kentucky voters only stupid when they elect republicans? Are they only stupid when they elect Agg. Comissioners? Or does the Agg. Commissioner have to be a former Wildcat to make the voters stupid? Do democrats that get elected have to be liberal before KY voters are not stupid?

mcpapa said that the two would set the republican party back twenty years in the commonwealth, at the same time saying they might just win. If I honestly thought that Kentucky voters were going to elect someone that would be that terrible, I would think even less of their opponents.

Did anyone actually suggest that?

My dislike of King Jerry is his behavior over the last 10 years as mayor. I actually like Beshear and was very unhappy when Abramson jumped on to his ticket.

Horrible ticket. David Williams will never be governor
