June 7, 201016 yr I haven't been to KI in some time. What's it cost to walk into the place nowadays? We ordered our tickets online and they were $34 or so. You can get tickets for around $25 at nearby establishments. $10 for parking. We normally get to the park first thing in the morning. Stay until mid-afternoon and go back to the hotel to freshen up and catch dinner. Then head back to close down the park. I have shut down the park on a multitude of occasions before. This year it was odd because I was in line for The Beast when the fireworks went off. They shut down the ride while the fireworks ensued and we did not finish the ride until 10:45.
June 7, 201016 yr Problem with Holiday world is it is very small and its the ONLY Thing anywhere around the place! If your like me we enjoy going somewhere for a few days and doing something other than the park, Kings Island is in a nice area and clean and nice, waterpark there is good and if I was going for two days I would go early for the rides before 12 and then hit the water park second half of day, lines are short in the morning.

June 7, 201016 yr Bugatti is correct, its somewhere around 21-25 dollars for tickets which isn't bad considering they used to be something like $53. I used to love PKI until I rode every ride there 100 times plus as a young teenager. Still haven't been since they built the Diamonback but I recommend the one that makes you feel like you're flying. It's a rush.
June 7, 201016 yr Wally World is the best. You one of them guys that takes the whole family to WalMart and puts all the kids on the penny horse ride and tells em, "Don't get any better than this kids"!?

June 7, 201016 yr Author I think we can get 2 day passes for just under $50 a piece. We'll be doing that if its not supposed to rain, which right now its saying theres a %40 chance so we'll see how it goes.

I prefer the park with some rain in the forecast. Limits the crowd. Rides are only shut down in poor conditions.
June 7, 201016 yr I have a question that one of you may know the answer to. If I have a gold pass, does that get me access to the water park too or do I have to pay to get in there?
June 7, 201016 yr I have a question that one of you may know the answer to. If I have a gold pass, does that get me access to the water park too or do I have to pay to get in there? Water park is free, a ticket into Kings Island includes the water park.
June 7, 201016 yr My advice is go to Cedar Point. Cedar Point is awesome. I go every October for Halloweekends. As for the lines at KI, it's the beginning of summer and a weekend, perfect recipe for hour plus waits... Does KI have any type of express ticket to bypass the lines ? I know Universal Studios in Orlando does this, I've taken advantage of it every time I've gone. It's well worth the extra cash.
