June 9, 201016 yr I prefer the park with some rain in the forecast. Limits the crowd. Rides are only shut down in poor conditions. Maybe it was an exception, but the last time I went to KI, they stopped all outdoor rides when it started raining. Conditions weren't what I'd call "poor," it was just sprinkling, but the only rides open were the ones indoors. Again, might have been an exception, IDK.

I think it depends on if there is any lightening in the particular storm in question. If so I'm pretty sure they shut down everything.
