lawildcat
My son was in Children's Hospital a few years ago and young Mr. Dinkel was in the room across from ours. I'll never forget being outside my son's room and watching as a sheriff's deputy had to escort them anywhere they went in the hospital while she was there. It was extremely sad and pathetic. I wouldn't blame the victim's mother one bit if she indeed went after the person who raped her son. She is a sick woman.
oldonetechnique
A good example of people with money and wanting to have the last word, I have no doubt in my mind that Both victims, both families all had a share in the blame and being wrong in their handling of this, but I would also bet, that Cov. Cath turned a blind eye to things going on in the school. Either way if it was poor folks this would have been over long ago.

2 Humped Camel
To me the most pathetic thing about this situation is that Tom Dinkle is still married to this woman.

You don't believe in the "through good times and bad" part of the marriage vow?

The guy's wife pleaded guilty to statutory rape, and then he emails a prosecutor and calls the kid the rapist? That's logical.

As Clyde said and .... unless you have walked in those shoes ... plus, I try not to make judgments about people's personal lives and the choices on what they decide to live with. That's logical. She then refused to attend her sexual addict therapy sessions. Said she was above it and didn't need to be put in the same basket with "those animals". Gimme a break. Do the crime, do the time. This woman is a very sick person.

This woman had kicked Tom to the curb long ago and he was heart broken. She is just taking advantage of Tom imo. Sad, really sad.

I agree, but I have to say the behavior of the victim and his family has not been, how do I say this ... honorable? I understand what happened is terrible but for your own well being you need to move on at some point. From what I have read, this whole latest incident seems to be driven by vindictiveness by the victim's mother.

I've dealt with an unfaithful spouse and am now divorced, although that didn't involve an underage individual I've walked in awfully similar shoes. 2 Humped Camel
You don't believe in the "through good times and bad" part of the marriage vow? Infidelity is a deal breaker even in biblical terms. She obviously didn't believe in her vows.

If the victim and his family are throwing gasoline on this fire, then they to stop the garbage as well. There are lines in life you simply don't cross. Jeni crossed one of those. Shame on her.
