How about Brad Riley? Is he not on the girls staff? Or have Coach Cravens move to the boys and have Riley take over the girls. Coach Cravens must be liked by the higher ups since he has been around a several years.

Riley left Cravens staff and bench two years ago. I think Riley went into Administration or that was his intent a few years back was to work towards getting into Administration.

Tony B. would be a great choice but he took a varsity assistant position in Ohio some where, don't quote me but I think it is at Turpin.

Then Brad Riley is still available and in the system.

Brad is banned from coaching, and still a gym teacher. He should of have lost his job completely, but AS kept him.

Banned? We once banned peaches from dating but...

I hear that Jason Hinson is a candidate. I think he would be a good one.

Guess he would be a good one. Wow. he knows his basketball, Love to see him get a chance to coach against some of these coaches in the 10th, T .. Good luck to Hinson in his endeavor as a new head coach. Would love to seen him got the Bracken County Job,.........Devils-Saints-Panthers Camels ...That about covers all the things on the ark ..

Hinson got a lot out of those kids at St. Patrick.

I'm hearing Russell is the guy. Can anyone confirm? TMore team camp is June 17th.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got the job, but I thought he was done with coaching.

His interview was yesterday so you may be right. I think they got some sticking points worked out and I wouldn't be surprised if he is announced by tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope they do right by him because I think he will be good for the program seeing as what the boys have been through losing a great coach in Code.

Russell will be the man, he is a SS teacher and they have an opening at CC as well.

Lets see if he can win at CC now that he has won at Newport.

I'd have to think this is true, as he seemed the logical candidate all along (especially if Carr turned them down as some have reported), assuming Aric was interested in continuing coaching? If this hire is true, I'd be a little concerned that he seemed to take a while to get into the fold, given his ties to the program (a CC grad, prior Head HS experience, teaching opening in his field, etc.) Makes an observer wonder if they tried several other avenues, but were denied, or if he was just reluctant--Either way not optimal for the program? Hoping for the CC kids this proves to be true, as they deserve an ending to this debacle!!
