This may be a stupid question but I just want to clarify. USC as in the University of Southern California or USC as in the University of South Carolina. I assume the University of Southern California. That's a HUGE accomplishment for him if so. He has some big schools on his list. It's going to be a hard decision for him to choose that ONE school.

 

Yes, it is Southern California. Funny thing is, when I told my son(who will be a junior next year) that USC offered Lamar, he said "that's old news, everyone knew USC offered him".

 

And you are right. He is going to have a tough but an exciting decision to make. I am prepared to become a fan of whatever school he attends. Regardless of who it may be. I look forward to seeing his entire list of offers later this year. I have a feeling to keep it short they may just say he has been offered by numerous BCS schools including Florida, USC, etc. etc. Very exciting times or Boyle County football right now.

With Lamar going to to all these big time camps, he was able to put his name out there. I bet he doesn't have any regrets. Also, his offers will only continue to grow.

Barring injury, Devan Hale will be the starting quarterback. I really don't think there is a competition at all for it.

That's what I figured. Someone was talking about the possbility that Zach Hester could get moved to quarterback. I knew that wasn't happening. I'd much rather stick to Devan Hale. He's got a great arm.

I can see Zach Hester or Tommy Hastings taking over at qb in 2011 as seniors or Casey Whittle as a junior next year(2011) but I'd say Devan Hale has the starting job locked down this year. I kind of expect Tommy Hastings to end up as the number 2 qb this year. Putting Hester at qb means we lose an offensive weapon.
