How old was this guy if it's the guy I seen he had a passion for football and them kids. I remember when they beat us (Dayton) a couple years ago in overtime and if the guy I seen he was the most excited person on the field you could see it in him. AS A Dayton fan we here are very sorry for your loss are prayers are with his family.

The Northern Kentucky Football officials send our sympathy and prayers. We, too, will miss Coach Logan and offer the Panther community our heartfelt love and support.

Jordan was an amazing individual. I was lucky enough to play football with both him and futurecoach in high school. Jordan dreamed big and everyone fed off of his passion and love for the game of football. Jordan and myself both started coaching for Ludlow at the same time and I can say I've never had as much fun as I did when I was around him. When I left to coach at Cooper, Jordan would call me every Friday night to let me know how Ludlow had done and to reassure me that things at Cooper were going to be special one day. After talking to another coach today about Jordan's passing, he summed it up perfectly by saying that, "Jordan is someone you want your kids to be around and learn from." That is a perfect description. Such an intense individual who loved sports and people. I'll miss you Jordan.

Prayers from the 'wood. My sons played against him for years. Good role model. Now, sadly, the young kids get a real-life lesson from Coach Logan. Remember all he taught you and do him proud.

I just recieved a text message informing me that Jordan passed due to an enlarged heart.

This is just horrible. I received a text last night from my buddy Paul (one of Jordan's best friends in high school) and he notified me of the news.

 

Prayers go out to the Logan family and the Ludlow community.

 

This has been a tragic summer for the greater Cincy area with all the young lives we've seen pass on.

I find it ironic that the nicest human being I have ever known passed because his heart was too large.

A real competitor was he. I recall a game between Ludlow and Bellevue a few years ago when Coach Borchers took exception to a late Bellevue drive. Randy was not too happy and let his feelings known after the game. Things got a little tense when the two teams shook hands after the game. There was Jordan, right behing Coach Borchers ready "to go" if needed against a very beefy Bellevue staff.

Last night as I lay in bed unable to sleep again I thought of something very reassuring to me. The following is the story:

 

About 6 years ago when we were walking off of the football field after a long practice Jordan and I noticed one of the most beautiful scenes in nature. It was when there are just small breaks in the clouds on a cloudy day and the rays shine through very bright.

 

When it caught our eye out of the blue Jordan tells me, "You see that? When I see that I know there is a god and a heaven." At the time it made little sense to me, but for some reason anytime I saw that sight I would never forget what he had said.

 

On Friday night my father, little brother, and myself went to a baseball game at Lemker field in Ludlow. At about 6:30PM or so the sun broke throght the clouds and shined down over the city of Ludlow like it had the day Jordan told me what he did. I saw it thought about what he said, but didn't say a word.

 

Suddenly my 12 year old brother said, " Dude, is that heaven right there or what?" At about that time the paramedics went flying past the field and I later found out that they were going to Jordan's home. That was in fact Jordan going home. It was heaven after all. I have found this very comforting. There is no way it was a coincidence that he said that 6 years ago, I never forgot it, and little brother brought up it being heaven on the day and just about time he passed. My friend is in heaven with god, and I couldn't be happier for him.

From the Bellevue football family our thoughts and prayers go out to the Ludlow community. This is a very tragic loss for the Panthers. Jordan was a great competitor and a great coach. Sorry for your loss!

Truely one of the greatest kids I have ever had the privledge to know. I agree with Braves1, watching him bounce up and down on the sidelines was a hoot! You can't duplicate that passion, but you'll be able to take it with you as life moves on. I loved seeing him around the area, he was just the happiest kid. He always had a brother-hug for me, which I'm grateful for now that they're gone. For those who knew Jordan the best, you are the luckiest of us all. For you get to keep the best and longest memories of him. My thoughts are with all of you, and with his family. May the road rise up to meet them.
