April 20, 201016 yr Really? I pay taxes on my car; I pay income taxes. I pay into social security, medicare, state income taxes, sales taxes..... Just because I don't own a home doesn't mean I don't pay taxes. Also, being a homeowner doesn't make me irresponsible. I made choices. Everyone's situation is different. Some people don't buy homes because they know they can't afford a mortgage. Others because they move around alot and buying and selling a home makes it difficult to move quickly. In my case, I chose to use all the money I could have put toward buying a home to educate my kids. It was the right choice for me. I first want to say I do not support the idea. How many non home/property owners cut a check to Uncle Sam in April? Most people who do not own property/a home get everything they paid in Fed taxes back would be what I think.........

I said would think, but I have been wrong before. I have family that live and work in Atlanta and Orlando, they rent, but also own homes away from there.

However, I think you're way off base on this one. With today's tight lending many families who make a decent wage cannot get a mortgage so they rent. They pay taxes.

I get drawn back in then have to find my Pepto! I just think that insulting those who don't agree with us has just gone too far in society.

I will say that I did read columnists who criticized President Bush but in no way did I see any organized effort.Never said it was massive, never said it was organized, but it was there none the less. As I said, it's what's been passed as well as proposed that have caused the Tea Party to grow.

If you answer yes to these questions, then my next question is why are you so angry for Obama carrying out plans that Republicans began? I actually don't know anyone who rents in my income bracket with grown kids, that gets back everything they paid into federal taxes. That's a pretty broad brush you paint with JD. Not everyone who rents is young, low-income, or a lower-income family of 4 that qualifies for other credits.
