April 23, 201016 yr Not sure that the Lakers had gotten to a team in the playoffs that could exploit it like Westbrook has. The others could get by but then not finish like Westbrook does. And even though he is a Laker, I like Fisher. Happened every series last year.
April 23, 201016 yr Typical Suns. Blazers lead the series 1-0 Typical Suns...Wait what? Just messing w/ you. The Suns are going to be a tough out. They can score and they are at least trying on D. They match up well w/ either opponent in the next round if they get there IMO.
April 23, 201016 yr It's been that way for the last few seasons. Yeah...more like the 7th sign... That foul they called on Fisher in the fourth quarter was ridiculous. He didn't touch Westbrook...I probably could have turned sideways and walked between them and they called a foul. Officiating in the NBA makes it hard to watch sometimes.
April 23, 201016 yr Westbrook continues to torch the Lakers PG's badly. Sounds a lot like the 2009 playoffs .Deron Williams, Aaron Brooks, Chauncey Billups. I hope the Lakers draft Eric Bledsoe. At the least, he could provide an immediate boost defending opposing PG's. At best, he could develop into the young PG of the future that they need. But, I digress...
April 23, 201016 yr I really don't think that Wade, Westbrook and KD could play together. Westbrook is only going to get better and that means there is 1 ball for all 3 of them. I don't think it would work. :thumb: A strong presence inside is their biggest single need. After that, they just need to keep drafting well and filling out the roster. Then, sit back and watch these youngsters emerge into stars. I was a big fan of Westbrook in college and loved the pick when OKC made. I felt like they could develop into an elite team. The key is keeping the key players in OKC.
April 23, 201016 yr Not to jump ahead but looking at how the Thunder are playing, what about Wade fitting in with them next season? How do you suggest they get him? They don't have enough cap room and they don't have anything they'd give up that the Heat would take in a sign and trade for Wade.
April 23, 201016 yr How do you suggest they get him? They don't have enough cap room and they don't have anything they'd give up that the Heat would take in a sign and trade for Wade. KNow nothing about cap room, just observation on talent and pieces fitting together.
April 23, 201016 yr KNow nothing about cap room, just observation on talent and pieces fitting together. Well in that case the Cavs would be pretty good with Bill Russell and Larry Bird.
April 23, 201016 yr Well in that case the Cavs would be pretty good with Bill Russell and Larry Bird. Bird might could provide a little spot-up shooting. I'm not sure Russell could offer much at age 76.
April 24, 201016 yr Paul Pierce hits the game winner!!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa Celtics lead 3-0.
April 24, 201016 yr Paul Pierce hits the game winner!!!! :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa Celtics lead 3-0. How do you let Pierce get to his favorite spot on the floor to shoot that shot?
April 24, 201016 yr Author I'm surprised that Dallas has now lost two straight, got off to a great start in Game 1 and now on the brink.
April 24, 201016 yr I'm surprised that Dallas has now lost two straight, got off to a great start in Game 1 and now on the brink. All of that talk a month ago in this forum about Dallas being the favorite and they may not make it out of the first round........again.
April 24, 201016 yr The surprise so far has to be Utah leading Denver 2-1 without Kirilenko and Okur.
