April 24, 201016 yr The surprise so far has to be Utah leading Denver 2-1 without Kirilenko and Okur. No doubt. The Nuggets are awful without George Karl. Down 2-1 to Utah without Okur and AK-47 is unbelievable.

I'm not so sure that San Antonio won't be a contender if they win this series. The winner of Dallas/San Antonio should be able to beat the Suns IMO. This series should cement Deron Williams place as the best PG in the NBA right now IMO. CP3 is my boy, but Deron Williams is on another level from the other PGs right now in my mind. He can pass, score and defend. He may be the best scoring and defensive PG in the game, and his passing has to be up there with the best of them. Denver is just showing why they're not a serious threat out of the West I think. They are just too emotional and too immature.

I think he's the most complete PG since Kidd was younger, and he's a way better shooter than Kidd ever was. I don't but I could be wrong. We'll see I guess. I don't expect either of these teams to beat the Lakers though.:thumb:

With everyone and there mom entering the draft this year they have a chance to maybe pick up a solid center to help out. They are giving the Lakers everything they want.... at home.

They are giving the Lakers everything they want.... at home. And they have two picks in this years draft, including one lottery pick. Even though it may be unrealistic I'd love for them to be able to package both their picks to move into the top 4 to get either Cousins or Favors. That's all they need to have a great nucleus going forward I think. With a legit big man they could become a title frontrunner in the near future. I think Presti is the best in the business when it comes to building through the draft. Durant was an easy choice at #2, but I think in picking Westbrook, Harden, and Green he's put together as good of a young supporting cast as anyone ever has for an emerging superstar when you consider how quickly he's done it. The Lakers just seem like they might be better off to just get the season over with and get some rest to start over for next year. They could still win the championship I think, but they just don't look healthy, especially Kobe. I don't think he's done, but he could definitely use some rest.

If they have 15 million to spend they are still about 3 million short a max deal. So a sign and trade would be needed, but I don't think the Thunder A) would want Wade over a big man, B) would give up the necessary pieces to the Heat to get the deal done. Other teams are going to have more to offer in a sign and trade. It's possible but not likely is what I'm saying. Nice try though man :thumb:.
