March 25, 201016 yr Geez, some people need to put down the Cornell Kool-aid. Cornell is not the best team UK has played this year but UK is the best team Cornell has played. As for the point spread, UK was also a 9 point favorite against Wake. Final results 90 to 60. Vegas isn't stupid they place the line where they believe they can get equal action on each side. They realize that most people are falling for Cornell. UK is easily 15 points better. Mark Coury plays meaningful miniutes for goodness sake.

I think the world ends tonight, unless the sun comes up tomorrow then it might not. I say Cats by 15. I wish UK was playing WVU or Washington tonight. We'd be up by 20 already. These two teams look like they don't even know what a basketball is.

I would still agree with the above posters that UT is the best team we've played this year. UT could easily wind up in the Final Four which would just ruin my year! And maybe my decade.

Well, Big Blue won by double digits and the Big Red was within 6 of the Cats late, with Whittman a non-factor. Last time UT and UK matched up, the Cats molested the Vols by 29. I still believe Cornell beats the Heat Packers from Knoxville.

I still believe Cornell beats the Heat Packers from Knoxville. No, they don't. Yes Cornell cut the lead to 6.....but never scared Cal enough to even call timeout. I was never scared after the 15 minute mark of the firs half and I get spooked easily in UK games. UT beat UK once and had the Cats on the ropes at Rupp. Cornell was manhandled in what was close to a home game for the Big Red. They had a nice team but they were NOT the best team UK faced this season. That will happen in the next game.
March 26, 201016 yr After tonight, win or lose, I think Cornell will be the best opponent the Cats have played. I think they are better than UCONN, UNC, UL, UT, Vandy, UF, or Miss. St. Cornell can flat out shoot the rock. They are very disciplined, play very fundamental team ball, and even came close to ended Kansas' long winning streak at Allen Fieldhouse. Plus, their players can solve the Rubik's Cube faster than anyone else. What do you think? In your opinion, have the Cats faced anyone better than the Big Red this year? I think not. :thumb:
March 26, 201016 yr The team I watched play last night is not the best team UK has played all season. That reminded me of an early season non-conference matchup where UK played good in spurts and ultimately ended up pulling it out with little doubt.

March 26, 201016 yr Anyone that really thinks Cornell was the best team UK played all season needs to start watching other sports since basketball is not their forte. That team was mediocre at best. UK won by 17 and looked unenthused at best. I don't think Cornell has played anyone that actually guards very well. They were outmanned at every position easily. They wouldn't have made the tourny if they were in a BCS conference. Mississippi St. is probably 7 points better than them everynight.
