March 25, 201016 yr After tonight, win or lose, I think Cornell will be the best opponent the Cats have played. I think they are better than UCONN, UNC, UL, UT, Vandy, UF, or Miss. St. Cornell can flat out shoot the rock. They are very disciplined, play very fundamental team ball, and even came close to ended Kansas' long winning streak at Phog Fieldhouse. Plus, their players can solve the Rubik's Cube faster than anyone else. What do you think? In your opinion, have the Cats faced anyone better than the Big Red this year? I think not.
March 25, 201016 yr Tennessee is the easy answer. Kentucky has faced teams that have more talent than Cornell.
March 25, 201016 yr People are going frenzy about this Cornell team. I agree, by saying Tennessee or maybe Vandy was the best team.

Win or lose ,you really think the SEC was that weak ? So you think Cornell would have won the SEC, I don't think they would have but I have been wrong before .:idunno:
March 25, 201016 yr Author Vandy yes, UT no chance IMO. IMO, the UT team that KY molested by 30 , lost TWICE to Vandy , and barely escaped SD St. in the first round loses to the Big Red. UT has a history of being undisciplined and inconsistent. They are like a box of chocolates. I'd take the shooters from the Ivy over the "shooters" from Knoxville.

So you think Cornell would have won the SEC, I don't think they would have but I have been wrong before .:idunno: No, I think UK would have still won the SEC but I think Cornell would have competed favorably with UT, UF, and VU.
March 25, 201016 yr Author Vegas now has the Cats an 8.5 pt. favorite over Cornell. That's a healthy dose of respect for a 12 seed from the Ivy League.
March 25, 201016 yr Did Cornell beat any BCS conference teams? Yes. Alabama, 71-67. St. John's, 71-66. NCAA tournament defeated Wisconsin, 87-69.
