John Anthony Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 UC finally gets over the hump against a decent/good team... big win for Mick in March...
Wireman Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Terrible showing for Louisville tonight...just terrible. Good win for Cincy.
TheDeuce Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Terrible showing for Louisville tonight...just terrible. Good win for Cincy. You're being nice...
Wireman Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 You're being nice... I'm literally just scratching my head trying to figure out what happened
Original Rookie Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Congrats to UC and especially Mick. You could hear a sense of relief in his voice, hopefully the fan base starts to back him up. UL... what can you say really? Beat Syracuse twice but continue to find a way to disappoint.
CoachBuckett Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 UC finally gets over the hump against a decent/good team... big win for Mick in March... There is nothing decent or good about UL. I am not sure if anyone knows But I hate this team.:madman:
LCPATS Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Cincy outworked UofL badly, especially in the second half. Sosa was the only Card that showed up. Knowles inability to knock down the open jumper really hurt (1-12). Killed the Cards on the glass. Just took them out back and whipped them. Good win for Cincy, I hope the Cats get WVU tomorrow night too. This one really didn't surprise me at all. Typical for the Cards this year. I'd say this wrapped up a 10 seed for UofL in the Big Dance. Better than the 8/9 line they've been on.
John Anthony Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 Also hope UC beats WVU that should lock up some at NIT bid at the least right? Would be good for them to get more March tourney play.
the mathemagician Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Churchill had the Cards pegged: "A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma."
LCPATS Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Also hope UC beats WVU that should lock up some at NIT bid at the least right? Would be good for them to get more March tourney play. UC has an NIT seed locked up I'd say. They beat the Neers they're back on the bubble.
gametime Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Man this is just flat out huge for this UC program right now. Cash, Parker and Lance all came up very big for the 2nd night in a row on the big stage. The beer in my fridge is in trouble...
gametime Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Also hope UC beats WVU that should lock up some at NIT bid at the least right? Would be good for them to get more March tourney play. The NIT was locked up this time last night. This was just icing on the cake. Win tomorrow and they are back in the NCAA conversation as crazy as that sounds...
CoachBuckett Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 After the offseason UL had. Players being arrested and Coach caught in a mess. You can't expect anything but what they have provided all season. A wise man once told me: "You can't do wrong and expect good things to happen"
Original Rookie Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 The hero from the last game in Freedom Hall history only had one shot tonight.
IGNOTUS Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 The University of Louisville has been night and day all season long...just in the last 3 games they have lost to Marquette by 20+, beat Syracuse for the second time this season, and then lose to UC after having a sizeable lead. The one thing that Ricky P can't seem to figure out is how to keep his team from losing the lead; it has happened way too many times this season, especially within the conference. I honestly don't know what to expect from UofL come tourney time: they could be a dangerous 8/9/10 seed, or they could go out in the first round because they can't keep a lead.
