I really like their cover of Landslide too. Can't say it's BETTER than Fleetwood Mac...but it's definitely as good.

 

I like Erasure's "Take A Chance on Me" better than ABBA's.

311 version of "Love Song" is a very good one if no one on here has heard it.

I'm not sure if you can count this as a re-make,

 

But Neil Diamond's "I'm A Believer". The Monkees original, but Diamond wrote it...then he covered it.

If you like the pathetic whining and screeching of Axl Rose you might want to get your ears checked.... :walk:

 

GnR had a great guitarist in Slash, absolutely the worst excuse of a singer in Rose I've ever had the displeasure to listen to.

I like the Manson version a lot as well as his covers of Tainted Love and Personal Jesus.

Manfred Mann also did a good cover of "For You" from Springsteen that was pretty solid.

 

Great point!, but I like the Bruce's version of For You better!
