Where the hell are they that the only beer available is IPA? Also, I like how they claim the IPA craze is over but provide no evidence outside of a brewer saying his "anti-IPA" is selling well.

Some friends and I are getting together, opening a few bottles, and cooking ribeyes tonight. Should be fun. Besides a lot of random stuff we are going to do these two line ups.

I'm drinking some Sierra Nevada 2016 Oktoberfest which is a collaboration with Mahrs Brau brewery. It's pretty good, better than the Samuel Adams Oktoberfest I had earlier this evening.

I had this last night as well. I thought it was pretty solid.

Haven't been, but have heard really good things. Let us know how it is.

Haven't been able to make it there yet either. What did you think @Clyde?

I liked the place better than I liked the beer.

Note, however, that I'm not an IPA guy so I didn't try those.

I'd love to know how much money they put into the place. Very nice but the L-shaped bar limits the wiggle room when it's busy.

I thought the cedar IPA was solid. The chocolate cherry stout I sampled was tasty as well.

I just read through the last few pages of this thread for fun.

I came to the conclusion that you guys are speaking some secret/foreign language. LOL

When did beer become so complicated?

No kidding. It's been over 2 decades since I've had a beer, but what I could afford then would just tick this crowd off.:lol2:

I'm guessing craft beer isn't a big thing in Pikeville?

I have no idea. It might be.

I'm not a beer drinker and when I was it was a long time ago when I couldn't afford much more than basic provisions. All that jargon is lost on me, lol

And I'm not from Pikeville. Yuk! :D
