What Beer/Wine are you are tasting right now?

Rhinegeist is the fastest growing brewery in the country 3 years running so they have to be doing something right. That being said, if you aren't a major pale ale or IPA fan, they probably aren't for you. I love those styles so for me they hit it out of the park almost every time.

Three Floyds is still the best brewery around though. Never had a less than stellar offering.

Heading down to 8ball tomorrow afternoon to see what they got. Hoping to try a few interesting offerings.

I absolutely love IPA, APA, and DIPAs. Probably my favorite styles. But I've had much better than their offerings.

Drinking a Bud Lite Lime right now. May move up to Corona next weekend.

I've had better than what they offer as well, but as a whole, they're far more consistently good than most breweries IMO.

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout

Not bad.

Had a Cabernet last night called "Educated Guess". Good stuff.

I was curious.

I've had 19 total beers from Rhinegeist. Using a scale of 2/10's variance being "equal" here is how I rated them versus the global community:

12 - I liked less

4 - about the same

3 - more

My average rating for their beers is a 3.35 and my average difference from the global community is -0.37.

Just did the same for 3 Floyd's.

20 total beers

3 I liked less

9 the same

8 I like more

Average rating is 4.075 and average variance is .06

I haven't. Been interested in trying it, but fully realize I probably won't enjoy it. :lol2:

Yeah, it was one of the first 10 beers I think I put into Untappd. Never again lol.

I've got a few in my cellar. Plan to crack one open soon.

What's the better Moerlein beer between the OTR, IPA, and Pils?

Definitely like some of their other beers more but I would probably put them in this order:

OTR

IPA

PILS (Very much dislike this one)

Headed to Nashville next weekend for a xc meet. Went there last year and stopped at Yazoo and Tennessee Brew Works.

This time I'm hoping to hit up a few more. Anyone have recommendations?

P.S. Southern Grist is definitely on the list

Cincinnati Beerfest on Fountain Square this coming Friday and Saturday. Over 300 craft beers.
