I bet Jim Harbaugh would love to have one of those with you.

Bardstown has its Craft Beer Festival downtown in 13 days. Always a good time.

The Abita Wrought Iron IPA is pretty good. Had one of those yesterday and I've always enjoyed Abita's offerings.

Stone RuinTen Triple IPA. A very murky beer, loaded with citrus, 10.8 ABV.

Just finished up a Dogfish Head Immort Ale. 11% abv....Was just ehh.

Had Rhinegeist's Barrel Aged Druncle this weekend, 11%. Really enjoyed it.

Also, 5 beers away from 1,000.

Slacker, I hit that mark last week. However, I think you got there much faster than I did.

I think we are heading to Woodburn on Saturday.

Also going to Streetside, which is Opening this weekend. Its in Columbian-Tusculum.

Founders Backwoods Bastard. 11.6% Scottish ale aged in bourbon barrels. It's a big, rich beer.

@MJAlltheWay24, you ever get a response from Rhinegeist about Hopgeist this year?

I didn't. They didn't respond to my tweet.

I asked two different employees about it on Saturday Night and neither had any idea what I was talking about. Both had only worked there for about 6 months, so they weren't there last year.

My guess, they aren't having it. Totally making something up, but I bet they scheduled a wedding reception each Saturday Night in October and totally forgot they needed a day/night for Hopgeist.

Bummed because I had full intention on going. It was like a mini Beerfest.

I shot them an email about a week ago asking about it, their site says they respond to emails/questions within 48 hours, and still haven't gotten an answer.

Bummer, I was looking forward to finally going this year.

Looks like they are having a Halloween Party instead:
