What Beer/Wine are you are tasting right now?

Featured Replies

Picked up a couple of their beers this past weekend. Haven't cracked them open yet, but have heard great things.

Where did you find them? Or was it while you were coming back from New England?

Hitting up the Pies & Pints at the Liberty Center tonight for dinner. Have heard they have a very nice beer selection.

Probably swinging down to Nine Giant and/or Mad Tree on the way back home.

Did I hear right that they are opening one of these at the Banks? Or somewhere like that.

Lady and I are both taking a half day today to get our marriage license and then heading to Madtree for some Catch-A-Fire pizza for lunch, with a few brews I'm sure.

At the new Norwood location of Cappy's. It's about a half mile from Listermann's.

They are. It's been coming Summer of 2016 for about 6-7 months now. :lol2: I'm assuming it'll be open soon. I know the Taste of Belgium just opened down there.

Sounds like a good way to spend a Friday afternoon!

Well considering I work super close to that, I'm going to need to find and swing by this Cappy's spot.

If you're looking for it, it's currently listed as Donna's Carryout. The owners of Cappy's recently bought it but it's still listed as Donna's.

It's right off of Montgomery, across from the big Xavier shop.

@UKMustangFan, thanks for recommending the Norwood Cappy's. I just havent felt like driving up to Loveland.

We picked about 20 randoms including some Hoof Hearted, and met they guy who owns them (I guess Cappy). Looking forward to trying the beers and would definitely be back.

Awesome news about Cappy's. That will be a short drive from work to get beer we can't get south of the river.

Am I correct that they still don't have the location set?

Maybe a month or so ago they had an event at Darkness where the BeerCast was recording and some Alexandria Brewing people were trying to get people to sign up.

I was talking with a couple guys who were somehow involved wearing Alexandria shirts. From what I gather, they have a location picked out, but they wouldn't tell me where. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I guess I didn't realize it was a secret when I asked. It sounds like it is going to be in an old house. I envision something along the lines of Mt. Carmel which is a pretty cool spot.

A shipment? Do you use an online ordering service?

Why isn't Against the Grain easily available in NKY?

My buddy says they have it at Party Town in Florence, but I don't make it that way often. I don't believe I've seen it at Party Source or Deb's.

Had 3 tonight:

Citra A$$ Down...great

The Brown Note...pretty good

A Beer...Mediocre
