Had three Dark Horse, Smells like a Citra Safety Meeting during the UK game. Really solid IPA.

Checked out Bad Tom Smith Brewery Saturday. Small place. Brown ale was tasty.

They let you spin records as well. Casual. Two people were playing cards at the table next to me.

Currently they are on Eastern Ave near Terry's Turf Club but they announced they are going to be looking for a better location. My daughter had the pumpkin ale and my bride had the blonde ale. All were tasty.

I passed a new place called Streetside Brewery on the same road closer to Mt Lookout. I'll have to check it out.

I like Bad Tom Smith, but haven't ventured there too often. They do have some good beers and I liked the Brown as well. Didn't realize they were looking to move locations. May help them some, its always been empty when I've been.

Went to Streetside the first weekend it opened. Wasn't overly impressed with their beers but need to try again.

If you over that way, do yourself a favor and go to Blank Slate Brewery, if you've never been, before Streetside.

Great Lakes Christmas Ale Draft. Went to get more and the local spot I fill my growler was out already (2 kegs). Good stuff!

Elysian Brewing Company's Space Dust IPA. Hailing from Washington at 8.2% and 62 IBUs (seems higher), straight citrus and pine, pure heaven.

Last night tried Deschutes Jubalale Winter Ale in the growler. Really smooth with just a touch of spice. I'll have this one again.

Went back to Darkness Brewing last night. Really like the place. Had a rye beer that was tasty. They also had Packhouse Meats truck there. The sliders were excellent.

Left there to check out Wooden Cask on York in Newport. Really nice place. Lots of room. The "Newporter" porter beer was tasty.

Their stuff is pretty darn tough to get a hold of isn't it?

Yep. It's Belgian and I know of no Kentucky shop that imports it.

Sister-in-Law got me a month of a Beer of the Month Club as part of my Christmas gift this year.

Arrived yesterday.

Included:

3 Saucony Creek Kutztown Lagers (Amber)

3 Saucony Creek Hexerei White Ale (Belgian)

3 Bootleggers Rocco Red Ale (American Red)

3 Bootleggers Far Out IPA (West Coast IPA)

Stocked up on some Madtree Rubus Cacoa the other day. Plan on keeping a case on hand at all times, that way when the "season" runs out, I'll have plenty leftover. Love the stuff.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm very intrigued to try this one:

Tapping on February 3rd and in stores on February 6th I believe.
