What Beer/Wine are you are tasting right now?

Why isn't Against the Grain easily available in NKY?

My buddy says they have it at Party Town in Florence, but I don't make it that way often. I don't believe I've seen it at Party Source or Deb's.

Had 3 tonight:

Citra A$$ Down...great

The Brown Note...pretty good

A Beer...Mediocre

When you go to Party Source look in the selection of local beers. It's a small wall in the entryway between the domestics and the craft sections right where the new part and the old part of the store meets. I haven't been in a month or so I'm not sure what they have, but I've bought a few different ATG's there.

Oh really? I guess I've just always looked past them for some reason.

@MJAlltheWay24 Part Town has a Friday Night Flights tasting every Friday at 530 pm. Usually one of their biggest nights is right before the holidays in December when they feature ATG. They will have 10- 15 different varieties, always worth the $2 admission for Bo and Luke. You should check it out that night.

I ended up trying the bolded, the Warped Wing was outstanding.

Had a Voltan by Hoof Hearted last night. A Russian Imperial Stout and it was delicious.

Have one of them in my fridge still. The other Hoof-Hearted I had was delicious.

Really enjoy the Double IPA Experimental Series that Rhinegeist has been putting out over the last year. Sipping on #007 right now.

Buddy drove in from Chicago for our wedding. Stopped in Munster, IN on the way and surprsed me with a couple six packs of Zombie Dust tonight.

What a guy.

@UKMustangFan, thanks for recommending the Norwood Cappy's. I just havent felt like driving up to Loveland.

We picked about 20 randoms including some Hoof Hearted, and met they guy who owns them (I guess Cappy). Looking forward to trying the beers and would definitely be back.

Stopped in on my way back from a work trip this morning and got to meet him. Nice guy. Picked up a decent chunk of winter ales and a few other things. Could spend way too much money in that place. :lol2:

Finally got to try the Oskar Blues Ten Fidy this past weekend. It did not disappoint. Only downside was it wasn't the BA.

I had that one a few weeks ago. Really enjoyed it as well.

They only had Red Stripe, Red Stripe Light, and Heineken in Jamaica, so I outside of a few, I mostly drank liquor. Need to get back into sipping some good beers again.

Stillwater / Casita Cerveceria - On Fleek

This is a very good Imperial Stout , it's almost so beautiful you feel guilty drinking it.

Against the Grain, Bloody Show. Very nice blood orange lager.

Really solid beer.

I also had a bomber yesterday of Vanilla Brown Cow from Carson's Brewery in Evansville, IN. I'd never it seen it bottled before but they have had it on draft around Evansville for quite awhile, but I'd never got a chance to try it. It was one of the better brown ales that I've had. Would recommend trying it if you can find it.
