Huge mistake! TO has been bad news for every team he has played for since and including San Fran.

Marshall is MUCH more talented than the other two by far at this point in their career. He is also the biggest wild card. If I had to have one it would be him.

They should try for Marshall. TO would be bad for the Bengals and he's washed up IMO.

TO is washed up as a number #1. Line him up opposite of Ocho Cinco and they can both be #1.5 and you could see TO be more productive.

And in all honestly, I really don't see how you can call him washed up. Not a whole lot you can do up there with the Bills, with their quarterbacks and all their other problems. In the right situation, I think he still have a couple good years in him.

With all that said, I think I would much rather have Marshall and #85...but we'll see what happens.

If they are making this kind of splash I like John Thornton's idea of offering a 1st and 5th for Brandon Marshall. It solves the #1 receiver issue for 3-4 years depending on the extension and makes 85 an unreal #2.

I agree! If they are going to go after a receiver that has a little bit of bad history but is talented. Then you have to at least try to trade for Marshall. Honestly I would do whatever take it gets to get Marshall. If it takes given up a 1st and a 2nd I would do it. They have a very young team, and could afford not having a 1st or 2nd round pick this year.

He wasn't bad news for the Bills. He was VERY quiet there.

And he didn't say much either... :sssh:

Why would T.O. want to become another receiver in a program that has decided to become a running team?

For what it's worth, at this point, if I were T.O. I would want to look at the Bears' situation.

Agreed, but I'm hoping the Bengals understand there has to be a happy medium. Carson needs to get going early and the run game will take care of itself. If Carson isn't that good (huge possibility) then keep pounding the run and hope the schedule doesn't eat you up.

That would be an awesome soap opera. A cry baby QB. A bigger cry baby WR. An OC that once said I'd throw the ball every play if it wouldn't get me fired. Home games in the cold would be great.

Can't afford Marshall, and Marshall is just as much or more of a headcase than TO.

Would be right in line with Brown's mindset to bring another trouble maker and bad influence into the team.

Chad also said he'd change his name back to Johnson if the Jets shut him out.

So I guess you felt like Mike Brown bring in Tank Johnson, Benson, keeping Chad and signing back the late Chris Henry were just bad moves and didn't help the team right? That is news to me. All those guys had a history before of being bad teammates or trouble makes. So I guess you feel like the Bengals should have never had those guys on the team. Yet I would really hate to see where this team would be without those guys. Like Mike Brown or not some of his moves have actually helped out this team lately. This team would be horrible if it wasn't for the singing of some of the players I mentioned, and those guys had some bad histories like Marshall.

Getting Brandon Marshall has a better chance of helping the team, than it does hurting the team.
