Buffalo is too bad to really look at this past season. The fact remains he is getting old. I am not saying Chad isn't a good receiver but tell me how he isn't overrated? He isn't in the top 20 in yards or rec. As far as 1-2 punch I would think Indy would have a say in that as well.
February 5, 201016 yr TO is washed up as a number #1. Line him up opposite of Ocho Cinco and they can both be #1.5 and you could see TO be more productive. And in all honestly, I really don't see how you can call him washed up. Not a whole lot you can do up there with the Bills, with their quarterbacks and all their other problems. In the right situation, I think he still have a couple good years in him. With all that said, I think I would much rather have Marshall and #85...but we'll see what happens. TO has gotten progressively worse with age. He put up some numbers in Dallas, but he also led the league in drops so they basically threw at him a whole lot. This season he did nothing. I don't want to hear he was on a bad team. Before Schaub emerged Andre Johnson was a world beater on a bad or young team. Brandon Marshall looked like a world beater with Kyle Orton throwing to him. He's old and garbage now. No one wants him, or at least at the price he wants. He didn't end up in Buffalo because he wanted to be there IMO. Can't afford Marshall, and Marshall is just as much or more of a headcase than TO. When has that ever stopped the Bengals before? And really who cares? Dude produces. If he was paid like he should be he would be happy. I don't mind when players complain because they're underpaid or the team isn't winning because of the organization like Chad was. TE's aren't WR's, so I wouldn't see how they'd be included. Huh? What? Maybe 4 years ago.....um..... Hines Ward.....as the 2nd option on his team -2009-95 catches, 1167 yards, 6 TD. -2008-81 catches, 1043 yards, 7 TD. TO -2009-55 catches, 829 yards, 5 TD. -2008- 69 catches, 1052 yards, 10 TD. So TO has more TD's the last two years, but only had 5 last season. Sure he was on a bad team, be he's been the primary WR every year of his career besides his first couple in SF. Overall catches and yards he's not been as productive as Ward. Rice and Harvin are much better than a combo of TO and Chad IMO at this time. So Harvin doesn't put up as many catches but he's probably way more valuable than TO or Chad at this moment. As for Smith and Manningham, Smith is probably the best of the 4 (MM, TO, and Chad), and I don't see how Manningham is that much father behind Chad and especially TO at this time. TO just isn't the same anymore. Niether is Chad. The fact that both could potentially suit up together for the Bengals doesn't change that.

February 5, 201016 yr So I guess you felt like Mike Brown bring in Tank Johnson, Benson, keeping Chad and signing back the late Chris Henry were just bad moves and didn't help the team right? That is news to me. All those guys had a history before of being bad teammates or trouble makes. So I guess you feel like the Bengals should have never had those guys on the team. Yet I would really hate to see where this team would be without those guys. Like Mike Brown or not some of his moves have actually helped out this team lately. This team would be horrible if it wasn't for the singing of some of the players I mentioned, and those guys had some bad histories like Marshall. Getting Brandon Marshall has a better chance of helping the team, than it does hurting the team. I was talking about TO which was the point, originally, in the thread.

Garcon had a solid year, but he has Peyton Manning throwing him the ball....What WR that plays in Indy doesn't do well there?
