Fanaca, Porter and Polamalu congrats...

Strahan is the only Giant that made. Probably the only one who deserved it.

Too many players. I wish the list were narrowed down, or at least divided among first and second team to make for some better debates.

I can't really complain with that list, definitely a good one.

Glad to see David Akers get some love for the kickers. And I agree with OR, great to see Shaun Alexander on there as well.

I haven't checked the stats, but I figured you could make an argument for Tiki Barber. Perhaps he didn't play long enough. :idunno:

No Brian Westbrook???

Only has had two 1,000 yard rushing seasons I believe.

Tiki played long enough...just not all in the same decade. His first year was in 1997, so only 7 year's spent in the 2000's. Alexander, by comparison, came into the league in 2000.

It's funny when you take a look at the stats. Tiki had a better yard/carry average than Shaun and had more than twice the amount of receptions. However, Shaun had nearly twice the amount of TD's compared to Tiki. But, what really got me, is that Corey Dillon's stats would have to be considered comparable as well! But, he too, like Tiki, came into the league in '97.

From 2002-2006 Tiki Barber was an elite running back.

2002 - 304 carries 1387 yards 11 TD's, 69 receptions 597 yards.

2003 - 278 carries 1216 yards, 2 TD's, 69 receptions 461 yards, 1 TD

2004 - 322 carries 1518 yards, 13 TD's, 52 receptions, 578 yards, 2 TD's

2005 - 357 carries, 1860 yards, 9 TD's, 54 receptions, 530 yards, 2 TD's

2006 - 327 carries, 1662 yards, 5 TD's, 58 receptions, 465 yards

Unfortunately other guys stayed around longer and did it for an entire decade. 3-4 more years of that production and Tiki would have been hard to keep off the list.

Tiki's stats are very nice, the only knock on him was his fumbling issues and he wasn't really a TD guy and many look at those scores.

I would take Mike Alstott over Neal at FB. He was a beast... :scared:

Good to see two Seahawks on the All Decade list... Too bad they didn't even have one single Pro Bowler this year, even though it seemed like 45 alternates were used. How fast things change in the NFL.
