To be clear for those who may take your comment the wrong way it seems Tate was looking for a very strong academic school. Its not a case of his academics being poor and scaring teams off.

Or are you meaning did they want him to sit out his first semester(next fall) and then enroll in the spring of 2011?

 

I do not think you can graduate early in KY, but I am not totally positive.

ND already has a commitment from a top tier tackle out of Illinois I believe. They are still in the running for James from Cincy St. X. I am curious how Tate fits in there having to switch from end to tackle going into college.

From what I read, Notre Dame only has one tackle commitment in their incoming class and that was a problem. Here is an article from today's Enquirer.

On Friday, Cincinnati.com said James could possibly land at UC. I believe he nixed a visit to Florida.
