I think 2-5 might be pretty interchangeable at this point. All have a similar number of losses. However, Boone did lose to NCC and Newport. Boone and Highlands have not played yet. Highlands did lose to Newport (regardless of who played), and didn't NCC defeat Newport?

Newport has defeated both Highlands and Boone, but lost to Newcath.

 

Newcath has wins over Boone and Newport, but lost to Highlands.

I think the folks from Boone do agree now that it does matter who plays.......I believe the outcome of some of the recent games are evidence of that. Boone missing Earls/Lay hurt them against Newport&St. Henry. Also HHS having a multitude of missing players in Dec. costs them wins. It is part of the process of a long season. With that, everyone is still chasing Holmes.

HHS has settled into a rotation (w/out Grote) and has played impressive at CovCath & NewCath, right now I would place Newport 3, NewCath 4 and Boone 5. I think Boone has the best chance to climb (if healthy) and NC is the most likely to drop. The 5-10 will change as as Scott continues to climb and maybe Ryle (not sure what to think there)?.

 

Lots of great hoops ahead with Holmes still having HHS, Boone & NCC, the 36th District (NCC, HHS & Nwpt trying to get out) and a regional that could get interesting with CovCath & St. Henry playing better.

Highlands beat Newcath by 14....I don't see how you could have them any lower than #3?

Yes they were and GRote was not 100% and hasnt been all season. It was a big win for Newport nontheless but if those 3 are in the game and playing 100% it might have been closer or even a different outcome.
