North Laurel 2010

It doesn't matter anyways larkey will be working for his dad in a few years after he fails at NL.[/quote

Chris Larkey is working his tail off to make NL a winning program. He will not ever have to work for his dad again. He has his own program.

No not really, just Corbin, Middlesboro, Knox Central, Rockcastle County, Lynn Camp and others.

haha, a little sarcasm there??

You are such a loser to say that. Chris Larkey is working his tail off to make NL a winning program. He will not ever have to work for his dad again. He has his own program. Why don't you grow up.

A lot of people start hurling insults when they get beat...which is ironic because thats what this whole thread ended up being about.

Get on with the thread. Start your own thread pc.

Sounds like a good schedule.

North Laurel improved as much or more than anybody last year. I think they'll probably make the playoffs because the district probably won't be as strong overall, but I don't know if they can actually improve that much with Wardrup and several other key players graduating. It seemed Wardrup did it all last year, but Larkey and company surprised me last year.

To get out of a contract there must be a mutual agreement. At this point there is not. This situation is not over and the schedules are not finalized. As it stands N.L. will not be playing PC, they will be paying the money to buy out and forfeiting the game, not replacing the game. They will only be able to replace the game and buyout, if PC agrees to it. The ball is in PC's court. For those who say N.L. won fair and square. N.L.had film of PC practice, PC had no film. Not fair!

Are you serious?

You must work the paper in Somerset because there are as many lies in this statement as there were in the article.

NL had NO film of PC practice.

Pulaski County was LIVE in person coaches and all at NL scrimmages.

PC no longer has a ball in the court, it is OVER. There is no game between the two teams, please MOVE ON.

There has to be NO MUTUAL AGREEMENT, if you really believe that then I've got some beach front property with a great view of the ocean for you to buy, it is located just about 10 miles outside of Somerset.

Are there any tissues left in Pulaski County, my goodness. I've never seen such bitterness and whining.

If Pulaski don't quit their crying they may bust the new dam they are building at Lake Cumberland and flood Rockcastle. My goodness, move on and worry about next year. Now do people understand why no one in Rockcastle likes Pulaski. Good luck Coach Chris, hang in there and I know you have them boys working hard. Can't wait to talk to you.

That's not true. Not even close. Contracts are pay and walk. The buyout compensates if the other team can't find a game. Dead wrong.

PC is the defending region champ but for some reason cannot let this one loss go. I don't understand it at all.

I'm really shocked by all of the uproar (& misinformation) regarding the cancelled NL/PC game. People, contracts have buy out clauses for a reason. If this game meant soooooo much to PC, they should have put a bigger number in the clause. I don't know what the reason NL wants out, but when I heard they were buying out, I was thrilled.

PC Coach Hines showed his rear end last year when NL beat his team. He cried like a baby, and called out a very classy and professional NL admininstration in the paper. I don't know if that factored into this decision, but I know it's reason enough for me. PC, grow up, quit your crying (like your coach), and MOVE ON.

NL will pick up either another 5A or a 6A team to fill this opening IMHO. PC needs to enjoy their first district and region titles and not dwell so much on this one game.

He won last year. When noone else had. What makes you think he will fail?

Because to Pulaski fans, Coach Chris Larkey has become what Lane Kiffin was to UK fans, .... the person they love to hate!

The difference is that he ain't leaving anytime soon.

Who are the feeder schools for North Laurel?

North Laurel middle school. And they have a very solid program under Dusty Carloftis. East Bernstadt Independent is also in the NL district, but they do not have football.
