Surely that was not an onside kick. Dude just tried to kick a low liner down the middle of the field and got lucky that it banged into one of the Bama up men.

I know how the process works, but if the BCS wanted to see how good both TCU and BSU where they would have put them against FL or Cincy.

Wow...Mccoy coming onto the sidelines has to be huge confidence builder for the frosh QB

Big East loses in the BCS since 1999

Syracuse 1999

Va. Tech 2000

Miami 2003

Pitt 2005

UC 2009

VA Tech and Miami are no longer members of the BE, they belong to the ACC now. :)

To reiterate, Florida wasn't available because the Sugar took them first. And second, it's obvious the Fiesta Bowl folks thought both TCU and Boise were better than Cincinnati. Were they right? Who knows. But they had a fair argument considering all three were undefeated.

Who'd they play for when they lost?

Momentum shifting a little....if the Horns can pin em back..who knows?

Is this a Bama/Texas thread or a BCS debate thread?

I don't feel like the game is over either.

Better in terms of filling the stadium? Yes. Better on the field? That wasn't what I was told by Fiesta Bowl reps at the last two UC regular season games...

Is this a Bama/Texas thread or a BCS debate thread?

My apologies to everyone about that. I'm not a BCS defender by any means, but everything makes a little more sense if you know the rules. I'm through with this threadjack, but would be happy to move it to another spot if anyone wants to.
