In my opinion they were just the ones needed to fulfill JCPC requirments. It is not hard to figure that out when certain references were never even called! People talk, I don't care who they are, when a person gets interviewed and some very reputable references are listed but never called, that tells you all there is to know.....umm,.....maybe.:sssh:

Coach Lucas was not Wooldridge's first choice, that particular candidate was NOT a high school experienced coach and would not have had a "teaching" position in the school.

It could also tell you that they did not do very well in the interview. So, why call the references?

Well, I am not married, so that does not figure in there SA!

 

I would expect the references to be called after resumes and applications are sent in, not after the interview. The references would lead to the administration wanting to interview, I might be wrong, just the process I had in mind. Maybe I have been doing things backwards all these years.

It's been almost 5 months since the last post. Anyone have any insights at all into how Manual has looked this spring? Are they involved in any 7 on 7's? How are the players taking to the new coach and his staff?

I have heard good things about the new Coach and a new level of enthusiasm. Will just have to see.:confused:

Rumor has it there is alot of excitement over that way. I beleive they have some qulaity atheletes and lots of enthusiasm.

Aug 13th Bowling Green scrimmages at Manual

Who will be starting at QB for Manual this year?

I heard the new coaching staff feels they will be able to compete with anybody in 6 A within (3) years.

This week I spoke with an assistant coach at Manual. He was extremely excited about the new head coach, saying his is equal to any coach in Louisville. He expects the Crimsons to have a stellar year despite a very, very tough schedule. I don't know if his excitement resulted in hyperbole but he said that there are 6-8 D-1 prospects on the team (presumably including sophs and juniors). Good luck to them. The more good teams there are, the better it is for football.
