January 2, 201016 yr Cousins got a knee to the head and he just reacted in the wrong way in an intense opening few minutes of a big game. The refs got it right. He got the T but no ejection. This all started before the game tipped off. Both teams were jawing at one another. Both coaches talked about it in the post game interviews.

January 2, 201016 yr Congratulations to the Cats. I'm proud to say that the Cards overcame a disasterous first half, and made it a game in the 2nd half. GREAT effort on their part! I think the Cards did a great job of defense in the 1st half, or this game would have been unsurmountably ugly for us! We'll get 'em next year, Cards!

UK free throw shooting in the first half was the biggest thing that kept the Cards in it.

January 2, 201016 yr : Ah Cousins is alright...I wouldn't to say He is a Punk but He does have alot of growing up to do! And I think He is getting a little better each week...:thumb: The CBS boys made a bigger deal out of it than it was.
January 2, 201016 yr Calipari on Cousins. "He played and he is pretty good. He missed some free throws that he has been making, but he made two that really mattered. I just think that with our team, if we can get him consistently playing and get him focused on the court (we will be fine.) He did a pretty good job (of being focused.) He is like a kid that I had at Memphis named Joey Dorsey, where the other team used to do whatever they could to get his goat, because they knew that he would lose it. I think that Louisville did everything that they could to get his goat. We told him they were going to do that and they did it as we walked in and off the court and the kid never budged. He said, `It is not bothering me, I am going to play.' He is growing up and really maturing. He is playing with a lot more confidence. He still does the reverse layup dunk, and reverts to AAU every once in a while. But he is getting better."
