January 2, 201016 yr 15-0 for the Cats, and they sure had to work for it. Fought hard to break Louisville's momentum in the 2nd half and Wall took over for the Cats. FT's were huge down the stretch and the officiating was horrendous on both sides.

January 2, 201016 yr Louisville is REALLY missing that one guy that can step up and take over a game this year.
January 2, 201016 yr Author It was an entertaining and sloppy game. Happy with the result, and happy that for the most part, the chippiness went away after the beginning.
January 2, 201016 yr Another W for coach Cal's boys but I think he needs to suspend Cousins a game. He seems like the kinda kid who has to learn the hard way then again he's young. Let him sit and think for 40 mins. At some point he is gonna have a major meltdown.
January 2, 201016 yr Horrible 1st half, exciting 2nd half. Both teams settled in and played ball. The zone kept UofL in it, but it also allowed P-Pat and Cousins to do too much damage. Good effort from both squads in the 2nd, glad it cleaned up. Pretty even game: rebounding: 36 - 36 Blocks: 5 - 5 turnovers: 18 -18 Here's the difference. Cats took 8 more free throws and shot 46% compared to UofL's 32%. Biggest difference, Cats had Wall to take the game over the last 8 minutes.
January 2, 201016 yr Good win Cats...:ylsuper: Good luck to the Cards the rest of the Season...:thumb:
January 2, 201016 yr Neither team could get much going after the awkward start, you could tell what kind of game it was going to be 45secs in. IMO this game will make both teams better and help prepare them for the road ahead...
January 2, 201016 yr A very ugly game, but I'm verry happy with the win. Give Pitino and the Cardinals credit, they battled all the way, and kept the game within reach until the end.
