I thought the turning point in the game was when UL took the lead, and Sosa started trash talking Wall...

It was more of a forearm than an elbow. I think it warranted a T, but not an ejection.

 

Boogie has some Jamaal Magloire in him. I hope it doesn't hurt the Cats in a big game this year. 18 & 18 for him. He doubled the production from Samuels who had 9 & 9.

I don't mind it mainly because he's just as excited/emotional for his teammates. When he's on the bench he cheers harder than anyone else.

So does John Wall, Bledsoe, Dodson, Orton, and others but they aren't looking for fights. Cousins has an unlimited ceiling but he has many many issues he needs to address outside of basketball. Basketball will never be this kids problem in life. Suspend him for one lousy game... this ain't Knoxville.

 

 

Cousins isn't looking for a fight, he just lets his emotions get the best of him. Laettners stomp on Timberlake was much worse than this. Coach K didn't suspend him did he?

I was a little surprised the press was effective for UofL. They just didn't make enough shots to set it up.

People act like this is the first incident with Cousins. I guess most UK fans (not me) are ok with his antics as long as he goes for 20/20. Heaven forbid we try to clean up a what 19 year old kids act a lil bit by disciplining him. Or at least showing him regardless of how good he is he can't play like a thug.

It was more effective than I thought it would be too. They are very good at tempting other guards to get out of control and UK fell into it.

I will give it to Edgar, he's playing far and above where I thought he'd be this year... And I agree about the other four. Also, Jerry HAS to start pulling his weight.

 

At a few points in today’s game Sosa and Samuels where the only ones that didn't look lost.

I think Smith, Knowles, Jennings and to some extent Swopshire need to step up and play ball, UL has the largest number of underachievers on one team that I've ever seen but I think it can all come together if they had a good floor general and a glue guy...

Exactly!!! It wasn't even that vicious, especially considering he had just been kneed in the head. CBS and Kellog (who is usually one of my favorites) made way to big a deal of it. Kentucky has been missing that attitude and I like it. He is a monster, his so called attitude and pouting...I can deal with it. You all need to get over it.

Yep, but Wall got it together when it counted. That's why he's special. Pitino was just talking about that very same thing.
