Final.

Like last year, certainly not the way they wanted to end it, but UC had a very good year, was a fun team to follow, and looks like they'll have a solid team returning next season (well, at least on offense).

Not pretty but clearly the better team won. Disappointed for UC fans...

As I said right away, UC had to make a huge impact in the first few minutes of the game. They had the chance on the 1st drive and it imploded. From there it was ALL UF. Congrats to the UF fans, your team was flat out better and dominated all night.

 

UC is going to be in good shape going forward, but for the 3rd time in a row (Oklahoma/VPI/Florida) have showed there is still a LONG way to go as a program. Here's to Butch Jones keeping the momentum moving forward...

Total mismatch. Good for UF's seniors, I feel bad for UC's players. Hopefully Jones can keep the program moving in the right direction.

 

I think it's good for UC though. In all reality many UC fans thought they were or potentially were MNC worthy. Tonight showed them how far away from that they are. Need more athletes, need defense, need a running game. UC has came along way, but now they have a decent measuring stick to see how much farther they have to go.

No UC can can complain about the ride over the last few years. Will miss Tony and Mardy!

Great regular season for UC, and quite of an accomplishment to get back to back BCS games.

Tonight was ugly, UF was focused and UC had a lot happen between the end of the season to tonight.

UC has some weapons returning for next year, but Butch Jones is going to have to create some mojo for himself and the program, and move on from the Kelly Era.

Also, that second earlobe or jaw mole is going to have to be removed, that he has on his left side. I'll be like Austin Powers when I see him speaking.

All kidding aside.

Bad night for Tebow??

My wife says I'm a complete jerk for not liking Tebow and will probably burn in hell because of it. Surely I can't be the only person in America that's not infatuated with this guy, can I?

The UF D came out with something to prove... they were laying the wood out there.

Seems by all accounts a great kid.

This game points out all of the flaws with the BCS system. UC comes in ranked #3, and looked like a DII team. College football needs a playoff system badly.

Great way for one of the best ever to go out in Tebow. I felt really bad for Cincy. The NCAA really needs to look at what they are doing to lame duck teams by coaches moving to better jobs before bowls are over. Not the coaches fault either. NCAA needs to move recruiting window or something. Dead perieod for coaches jobs?
