The Office is great. This past season hasn't been its best by far though.

 

I agree. I've found Andy much more funny since The Hangover came out though. I love when Micheal puts Toby down lol.

I love The Office but some episodes leave me very disappointed. But, others entirely make up for it. :lol:

 

Modern Family comes on Wednesday nights at 9 on ABC. Everyone should watch this one too. It's classic.

 

I also really enjoy Rules of Engagement. It used to be on Monday nights, but I don't think it's premiered yet this season.

 

Both are just as funny as The Office. The Office's 1 hour episode following the Super Bowl may have been the funniest show I've ever seen.

The Office is great. It's part of what's become an excellent Thursday night for NBC. Parks and Recreation made some changes on the writing staff this year and its MUCH better than its first season. 30 Rock has been funny since it started and Community might be my favorite new show this year.

We have the first 3 seasons on DVD. My whole family loves it. It is hard for me to turn off even when it is an episode I have seen before.

 

I do remember hearing about it first on here, but never watched it. The past year or so, we have begun to watch. It is one of the only shows that my wife, my 20 year old son and 14 year old daughter all enjoy.

I think it depends on what you look for in a TV show and what your humor type is. We've had this same conversation at work many times. Incidentally, many of the shows one of my best friends at work watches are awful to me.

Office and 30 Rock are the only TV shows I watch with any regularity outside of sports-related shows. I don't think I have ever heard Creed say anything on the show that wasn't absolutely hilarious. He doesn't say much - maybe a line or two a show - but they're classics.

You don't necessarily need to watch them in order, but it does help. Much of what happens in Season 3 and 4 is set up by stuff happening in Seasons 1 and 2.
