One of the things that I heard this morning was the there was talk out of Jacksonville that they'd draft him just because he'd put butts in the seats with him being from there and all.......I think that's a disservice to him, the team, and the fans.

I liked Tim Tebow one season the entire time he was at UF. That was his sophomore year, his freshman year I didn't like him because many threw Chris Leak to the side and called for Tebow to start. I thought people were infatuated with him because he made three big plays, but then his sophomore season I saw him make several big plays, and started to like him. Then his junior season I met him after the Florida/Georgia game, there were probably 20 UF fans waiting for the players to come out of the locker rooms and onto the buses. I wasn't going to ask for autographs of anyone-because it's kind of lame to ask someone that is around your age for their signature, but we were able to talk to just about every player-including Percy Harvin, and Brandon Spikes, both who were very nice, and Percy even took picture with me and my friend. Pretty nice for two guys that have character issues, huh? Anyway, Tebow came out last, and instantly everyone flocked to him, there were several young kids that asked for autographs and Tebow didn't even acknowledge them, just kept walking. That left a bad taste in my mouth, and then I started to dislike him just about as much as everyone else that wasn't a UF fan, it just rubbed me the wrong way that he acted like a saint on television, and then was a jerk to his young fans when the cameras weren't there. And as selfish as it is to say, Saturday's performance in the SEC title game sealed it for me: Tim Tebow is one of my least favorite athletes playing today. It wasn't even that he played bad, it was the pick he threw to Arenas when UF could have cut it to 5, it was as if he didn't even try to get rid of the ball, any QB could have lofted that ball over Arenas, but he just threw it right to him. Weird to hear from a Gator fan, I know, but I just don't like the guy.

I understand why Tebow's actions that day left a bad taste in your mouth, but everyone has a bad day every now and then, and perhaps Tebow was just not in the mood to sign autographs or talk with fans. Keep in mind, Tebow probably faces these situations (i.e. being surrounded and bombarded by fans) every waking hour of every day... I think it's asking too much to expect the kid to be 100% accommodating 100% of the time.

I like Tim he's a great kid and is going to be succesful in whatever he does, he's a warrior.

The hatred for him has to be jealousy, or just that he whoops up on peoples teams. He is a good kid at heart and thats all a guy can ask for.

1. UK has never beaten UF in my lifetime. Nothing to be jealous about.

2. He only beat the U once. UF is afraid to play the U on a consistent basis. Make fun of that if you want, but it's the truth. It's been that way since Spurrier.

I'm in the middle here. Tim Tebow is nowhere near as good as anyone in America thinks he is, but the dude just wins football games. He has "it."

I don't like them either, for what it's worth. But I still don't think it's media attention that makes me dislike him.

Don't know me very well, do you? If you did, you'd know there is rarely a method to what goes on in my head. It just is the way it is, and I don't try to change my own mind.

I think most that fall into the "dislike" category are actually transferring their feelings from the media and its love affair with him to him. There is simply no reason to not like the young man. Plenty of reasons to dislike how often the media talks about him.

Four years of coverage for Wall would be right up there with Tebow. As a Cats fan, I'm not worried about that.
