December 3, 200916 yr Nope. I ask because I've heard more than few times that Rondo is regarded as the quickest in the NBA. The fact remains, no one really knows how quick he is, or how they'd match up.

Chris Johnson has 3 touchdown runs of 85 yards or more this season. No other running back in league history has that many in their entire career. On his 85 yard run against Zona this past weekend he logged like he was jogging past Antrelle Rolle, then laughed at him in the endzone, all in good fun I hope. Good luck Rajon...
December 3, 200916 yr I bet Lebron would give him a run for his money. No way Lebron isn't that quick. This would be interesting to see though... Rondo is pretty lanky but I think CJ's quickness would be the deciding factor. For the record I don't think anyone would beat Bolt.
December 4, 200916 yr I bet Lebron would give him a run for his money. That's what I was thinking. I'd like to see the King run a 40. Just because he's the size of an NFL TE doesn't mean that he has that kind of speed. He's pretty fast and would give some NFL players a run for their money.

He's no 4.24 forty time, but I bet he's in the range of a 4.4. ...remember this is coming from a guy who dislikes Lebron.
December 4, 200916 yr How do we know this? We don't see NBA guys run the 40 and the court isn't big enough to display speed. Rondo is probably fast enough and athletic enough to be a professional football player IMO.Way too thin....
December 4, 200916 yr Way too thin.... Definitely way to thin for a running back. Even as a wide receiver with great skills, he probably couldnt be sent across the middle often. I would love to see Rondo back this up with respect, but I doubt it happening.
December 5, 200916 yr Way too thin.... I didn't say he could play in the NFL. I said he was athletic enough. So many other factors go into being in the NFL, which is why Carl Lewis, Tyson Gay, and Usain Bolt aren't catching passings or defending Randy Moss one on one.
