December 3, 200916 yr This won't happen. The Celtics would have a conniption fit if Rondo pulled a hamstring or some other injury in a footrace. At the end of those races, when they are stretching for the finish, is when most of the injuries occur.
December 3, 200916 yr Hopefully for Johnson it won't be no English contest. That is where I was going with it. :thumb:
December 3, 200916 yr He must be stupid. It won’t be no close race.”[/i] Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. :isurrender:
December 3, 200916 yr Rondo would get hosed in a match up with Johnson.......football speed is crazy! How do we know this? We don't see NBA guys run the 40 and the court isn't big enough to display speed. Rondo is probably fast enough and athletic enough to be a professional football player IMO.
December 3, 200916 yr Rondo is crazy quick for a basketball player, but no one's seen him straight up sprint, so who knows how he'd fair....I'd give a very slight edge to Johnson, but I don't think it's the sure thing most on here do. Why in the world would the NBA and NFL look down on this LR?
December 3, 200916 yr Why in the world would the NBA and NFL look down on this LR? Don't want to speak to LRCW, but my initial reaction was that they'd discourage gambling / bets on an open forum, especially for that type of money. But, the more I think about it, it could be very beneficial for both in terms of PR.

December 3, 200916 yr Author Remember, by selecting Rondo you are saying he would be the fastest person in the NFL. We need a poll.

December 3, 200916 yr I bet Lebron would give him a run for his money. Maybe if they were running with pads on taking contact, otherwise I doubt it.
December 3, 200916 yr I could be wrong but didn't he record the fastest time ever at the combine for the 40?
