0-3 at UC going into Saturday. WVU year 1, and Oklahoma and VT last year. That covers it, right?

 

The reality is UC simply did not have the depth to consistently win at that level when BK got here, and even though it is developing now in year 3, it is still a work in progress to beat the elite programs just yet. That's why he said he could beat a UF or Bama in a one game shot, but the program was not yet good enough to compete in a league like the SEC week in and week out. Do you think you are making some huge revelation about his time at UC? Really???

 

Are you always on guard about stats you don't like? :lol: I bet a lot of people outside of you did not know this. I think Stoops is the safer pick for ND but BK may have better upside. Kentucky is the college bball of ND football and UK gave Calapari 4 million for a reason they know exactly what there going to get.

UC will beat Pitt by 17 his week and he will get his first top 15 win. We will see what happens in the Bowl game then you can humor me on UC/OSU. I am sorry that you may lose your coach, I have said numerous times I hope he stays but OSU did not have anything to do with it. All I said is Stoops is the safer pick.. if you wanna debate that be my guest i'll be here all week...

^^How has Stoops done in the last few bowl games? I don't see how he's any safer than Kelly. Kelly is a big name right now and would be able to recruit very well for ND IMO.

Yes considering I went to UC for 2 years and I attend Brian Kelly's coaching camps and have been to two UC games this year, I am really excited to see him go...

I'm not saying Stoops is a bad coach, I actually think he's a great one or close to it. I do think that Brian Kelly has a higher ceiling as a coach though. IMO he could be like Meyer or Saban.

Well clearly Meyer would be the best and safest pick. But I said what you just said I do agree BK has a higher ceiling but ND is in Kentucky bball shape right now.. they need someone to fix it.. now, with minimal risk.

IMO, Stoops is a lower risk and not as big of a ceiling. Kelly is higher risk higher reward.

I think it is a risk ND has to take. Kelly is the type of man who has the potential to restore ND IMO. Stoops would have success, I just think Kelly could end up being great.
