Thanks for the info guys. Going to try and get it then for my husband for Christmas. He has the old floor model big screen. Time to get rid of the old time model and update him to HD.

 

You can probably find a great deal on 1080p TV's today as well. Just look around. I saw a 60inch Mitsubishi 1080p DLP HDTV for $799 on BestBuy.com.

 

If I had the money, I'd buy that in a heart beat.

I went once. Never again. I'd rather go through Marine Corps boot camp again.

I hate to shop on a regular basis! There is NO WAY I would go shopping today!

I was up at 3:30, went to Somerset Walmart for perhaps the craziest thing I have ever experienced. I was in line to just check out for over an hour. It was worse than rush hour traffic times two hundred. No one was moving.

 

But I did make it home at about 8:15 and got what I went for...

 

The games were gone.

 

Luckily, some people decide they don't want what they get and sit it down around the registers. I lucked out and got one of the sold out Nikon cameras and an xBox game.

Mrs. Crunch and Teeny bopper headed out at 4AM. My job is to wait here at the compound. When they are ready for lunch, I am to meet them and have lunch with them. Not to tough:thumb:

I wish I could tell you. :lol: I don't shop for big ticket items. My family just gets everyone a little something each. For my kids, I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive double bed or a dresser for my daughter. She needs both, but it'll be one or the other for Christmas. Her birthday is in March and she'll get whatever I wasn't able to get her for Christmas.

 

I'm really stuck on my son and his fiancee. I haven't a clue what to get either/both of them.

 

I use a site caled ebates.com to get cash back on my purchases. I just went to overstock.com through ebates. I shopped clearance and spent about $70 and got sterling silver necklaces and earrings for several family members, and I'll get 4% cash back and free shipping. I used my book club membership and bought books for a few others. The bomc2.com site is $9.95 all the time for hardback books, and free shipping.

Which one is it? Is this not good. I was wanting to get the 50' plasma.

 

My son has a 50" plasma LG that is 720p and it is awesome. The pic is fantastic.

Walmart was like a circus this morning.

It didn't help that they only had a couple parts of the store open.

I went to Wal-Mart in Mt. Sterling and then Winchester, came home with my main two targets (NBA 2k10 and UFC Undisputed for the 360) at 25 bucks apiece, and also Godfather 2 for 10 bucks. Nothing big, but three games for 60 bucks total, not bad.

All the women in my family were leaving our house around 3 this morning. Not I ...

 

I wouldn't go to walmart today if they were giving flat screens away and Beyonce was nude working the register.
