What would you do different if you knew then what you know now?

Featured Replies

I would've gotten a more specific college degree.

I would've kept my first Tacoma.

I would've waited at least one more year before buying my first house.

Find a bookmaker. Legal, of course.

:clap::clap:

Too many regrets, too little time.

Obviously all of the money stuff I would do, but I would go back and stop 9/11. Talk about changing our current world.

I also would have flown to Philadelphia in 1992 and screamed at Pitino to put someone on Grant Hill.

I would have joined BGP about five years earlier. :notworthy:

i would have stayed in better shape and saved some money for a rainy day!

Would have learned to play guitar. Taken up photography much sooner. Played more tennis. Saw more concerts. Taught myself to hit left-handed much earlier.

It's never too late for that!

For me, I wouldn't have given up football in college.

It's a long but distinguished list. :lol::lol::lol::lol:

In all honesty there is just a few things. Most importantly I wish I would have been more stubborn and confident many years ago.

Unless you guarantee me it wouldn't change how my trip ended up I'd not change anything.

I would of spent more time with my kids when they were younger, kept in touch with old friends, taken more risks, not worried about what others thought, loved more and been angry less...

I would have told people I loved them more often.

Never picked up a cigarette.

Spent more time with my grand parents.

Saved more money.

Got serious about school earlier.

Played football in college.

Treated girlfriends better.

I could go on and on...you live and you learn I suppose.

I would have had a child 20 years ago instead of waiting until it was too late. My biggest regret!:cry::cry:

I would like to have realized that much of what I thought was most important then was not really that important and much of what I thought was unimportant really was important later on.

I would also have chosen my college major a little differently.

I've been seriously pondering this question since you posted this thread. Everytime I think I have something, I think of the possibilities that could have been "if".

I honestly don't think I would ever do anything differntly. As hard as some times have been, it's made me what I am today...and I'm really happy and appreciate where I am now. I don't know that I would have appreciated what I have now, if I had taken the road "most traveled" instead of the road "less traveled".

Sappy, I know, but that's how I honestly feel. Regrets aren't productive for me.
